S. Forrest , owner of lots 34, 35, Block 23 , Cambridge Lawns , PB 20/48 for a variance on lot size and lot frontage. I first wish to call your attention to the lack of a pro- per date on the notice. The public hearing s to be held on 26 March 1963, and not on 2 March 1963. — Secondly , I would like to say that I am unalterably opposed fiu! to the variance and I am sure the board would agree if they were to view - the property in question. It is an extremely pretty lot with lots of fine trees and it would be a crime to chop it up for a fast dollar . Because there are still many vacant lots left in the Twin Lakes area, the granting of this variance would undoubtedly lead to other variances until the entire area was damaged. Thirdly , It is requested that the board take into considera- tion that Mr. Forrest was well aware of the zoning on this particular lot when he bought it. For him to now plead fi- nancial hardship would be pure humbug. Lastly, it seems to me that the desires of the persons most concerned should be the determining factor in matters of this kind , namely, the surrounding property owners. Sincerely, H. H .
