Gentlemen: WE, the undersigned property owners of South Miami, and as members of 'Twin Lakes Improvement Association, hereby object to the granting of any kind of. variance in above cases for the following reasons : Almost all our:. lots are more than 10,000 square feet and sized approximately 100 by 100. Furthermore, according; to the regulations of South Miami;, whereby only 25% of a lot can be built upon, this will emit the size of these houses to such an extent, whereby these houses will be much smaller and mach lower priced than the surrounding neighborhood. The three lots in this block face 64th Street for a total of approximately 200 feet . frontage on 64th Street, and if these permits would be granted, there would be three houses in this block, while everywhere else in the same Neighborhood there are only two houses in a corner block. . .We have all invested�Zreatly in our properties, and -spent s coliaderable amount of money to improve the neighborhood by building seawails ' and making other improvements to our properties . 1 Rights now' we are investing another $ 1,000.90, of our own money to improve the condition of the Broad Canal, which is County property, but which we are willing to do in order to improve our neighborhood. We certainly would not want anything there which will lower the value and the appearance of our properties . We therefore kindly request that you decline to issue anyiriance for the above properties, in as much as there is certainly no hardship involved.
