The proposed project is an addition to the existing structure consisting of a garage. The addition will be as tall as the wing on the opposite side of the residence as well as roughly the same dimensions, making the house architecturally correct and visually appealing. The color of the house has faded considerably, and as a result of the hurricane has become stained and shabby. The house will be repainted a light pastel beige bringing it back up to it's pre- hurricane condition. An additional driveway is planned to allow access into the garage, and the circular driveway, which has sustained hurricane damage, will eventually be removed enabling the front yard to be planted with grass . Because of the additional proposed wing, the facade of the structure had an unfinished look to it. Consequently a low wall with pillars and outdoor lights was added to give the house aesthetic value and curbside appeal. These upgrades are consistent with other residential upgrades in the neighborhood increasing the overall value of the area.
