A Resolution authorizing the City Manager to expend an amount nQt to exceed
$6,259.00 for election costs for the August 28, 2018 Special Election, held in
conjunction with the Miami-Dade County Primary Elections.
WHEREAS, the City Commission has approved Resolution No. 094-18-15127, related to a
proposed Charter amendment, to conduct a special election on August 28, 2018, in conjunction
with the Miami-Dade County General Elections; and
WHEREAS, the City received a quote from the Miami-Dade County Elections Department
for the special election in the amount of $6,259.00 for the election costs; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends the expenditure of the quoted amount.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to expend an amount not to exceed
$6,259.00 for election costs for the August 28,2018 Special Election held in conjunction with the
Miami-Dade County Primary Elections, charging account number 001-1200-512-4920 with a
balance of $36,965.80.
Section 2. . This resolution shall take effect immediately upon approval.
