RESOLUTION NO. 217 -96 -9971
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA, RELATING TO THE REQUEST
FOR A REVISION TO A SPECIAL USE PERMIT FOR A "GASOLINE
SERVICE STATION" , PURSUANT TO SECTION 20-3.4(B) (5 ) OF
THE LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE, REGARDING THE PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 6180 SUNSET DRIVE, SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA
33143; PROVIDING FOR A LEGAL DESCRIPTION; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

WHEREAS, Mr. Perez submitted an application to request a
Special Use Permit in order to operate a deli in conjunction with
a "Gasoline Service Station," as specified in Section 20-3.4(B) (5 )
of the Land Development Code, on property which is located in the
"GR" (General Retail) zoning district; and,
WHEREAS,

WHEREAS, Planning staff has recommended approval of the
application for a Special Use Permit with two conditions, which
recommendation is based upon (a)
(b) consistency with the City's
the merits of the application and
adopted Comprehensive Plan; and,
WHEREAS, on November 26, 1996, the Planning Board voted 6:0
to recommend approval

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA.
Section 1. The application submitted by Mr. Perez for a
Special Use Permit to operate a delicatessen in conjunction with
a "Gasoline Service Station," under Section 20-3.4(B) (5) of the
Land Development Code, at 6180 Sunset Drive, is hereby granted.

Section 2. No signage is permitted for the delicatessen.
Section 3. This approval is subject to and dependent upon
the restriction and limitation of the delicatessen use to the
property at 6180 Sunset Drive, as indicated on submitted plans.
Section 4. The City Manager may revoke this approval upon a
