Res No 212-96-9966L L a RESOLUTION NO . -- 2 1*2 4w 9 6 - 9 9 6 6 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA, RELATING TO REQUESTING TAX EXEMPTION ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 5845 SOUTHWEST 68th STREET, ACQUIRED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA, FOR PUBLIC USE; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Commission of the City of South Miami recognize that on July 15, 1996, the City acquired the following described property for public use. Lots, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17, inclusive, Block 8, of Plat of Realty Securities Corporation's Townsite of Larkins, according to the plat thereof as filed in Plat Book 2 at Page 105 of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida. The Dade County Tax Assessor's folio numbers for the property are as 0910 (as to Lots 0920 ( as to Lots follows: #09- 4025 -028- 13 and 14) and 15, 16 and 17 ) #09- 4025 - -028- NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The City of South Miami exemption from taxes as of the date of acquisit described above, pursuant to Florida Statutes, formally requests It ion of the property Section 196.28. Section 2. A certified copy of this Resolution be transmitted to the Metropolitan Dade County Commission, its County Manager, its Tax Assessor and its Tax Collector. Section 3.
