Res No 209-96-9963RESOLUTION NO. 209 -96 -9963 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA, RELATING TO INSTRUCTION TO THE ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW AND PRESERVATION BOARD [ERPB] TO PREPARE GASOLINE SERVICE STATION STANDARDS IN THE FORM OF A DRAFT ORDINANCE FOR COMMISSION; PROVIDING FOR A DEADLINE AN EFFECTIVE DATE. REVIEW BY THE CITY AND PROVIDING FOR WHEREAS, on October 1, 1996, the City Commission granted an appeal of the decision of the Environmental Review & Preservation Board [ERPB] to Petropac for the Amoco gasoline service station located at 6350 South Dixie Highway; and, WHEREAS, the representative from the ERPB, Mr. Mark Diaz,, expressed the ERPB's desire to develop restrictions and standards for development and remodeling of gasoline service stations, and, WHEREAS, prepare draft the City Commission desi regulations for gasoline res to instruct the ERPB to service station standards. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The Environmental Review and Preservation Board [ERPB] is hereby instructed to prepare draft regulations in order to create architectural standards for gasoline service stations for submittal to and review by the City Commission. Section 2. The ERPB shall consider this matter and prepare a revised ordinance to be presented for a first reading before the City Commission on Janua 21, 1997. Section 3.
