Section 2. The City of South Miami Code Revision
Commission shall be charged with the responsibility of preparing
a work plan and schedule for accomplishing its work in a period
not to exceed six months, unless that time is extended by the
city Commission; studying and making recommendations to the city
commission regarding necessary or useful revisions to the code of
ordinances; evaluating technology and cost for data - basing the
code; holding public workshops upon approval by the city
commission; and, preparing drafts of the recommended revisions to
the code.
The commission shall not address the city's comprehensive
plan and land development regulations, nor shall it be concerned
with the form and structure of the city government.
The city manager will provide for staff and logistic
support. Support may include, but not limited to, scanning the
code into the city's computer in Word format and publishing the
amended code, as finally adopted. The Municipal Code Corporation
may be engaged to review e=� �x �= code for non - compliance

Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately
upon approval.
