MIAMI PENDING THE APPOINTMENT OF A PERMANENT CITY
MANAGER AT A SALARY OF $62,000 ANNUALLY, PLUS $6,697 IN
LIEU OF HEALTH INSURANCE AND $300 MONTHLY AUTO

WHEREAS, the City of South Miami has received the
resignation of the current City Manager effective on September
27th1 1996 and a vacancy will exist on that date; and
WHEREAS, the City of South Miami

has a Commission - Manager
now wishes to appoint an
interim manager until a permanent City Manager is appointed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. L. Dennis Whitt be and is hereby appointed as
Interim City Manager of the City of South Miami at a salary of
$62,000 annually, plus
$6,697 in lieu of health insurance and
$300 monthly auto allowance
expended from Accounts No
