Applicant: FRJ[T SllOps at Sunset Place Fee Owner, LLC
You are hereby notified that an application has been submitted by the above to the
City of South Miami for the following requests for that project known generally as
Shops at Sunset Place and more specifically described in the application materials
submitted to the City of South Miami:
(1) Small scale text amendment to the City's Comprehensive Plan to
create Downtown SoMi Land Use Category;
(2) Small scale map amendment to the City'S Future Land Use map
proposing the SoMi Land Use Category Designation for the Application
Property;
(3) Text amendment to the City's Zoning Code creating Downtown SoMi
District ("DS");
(4) and (5) Map amendments to the City's Official Zoning Map amending
the designation of the Application Property to Downtown SoMi District
("DS") ;
(6) Initial Site plan approval for the Project; and
(7) Repeal and replace all previous, inconsistent approvals and ordinances
related to the development of the Application Property.
The requests will be considered by the Planning Board and the City Commission.
The City's Planning and Zoning Depaltment, at 6130 Sunset Drive, South Miami,
will have on file all documents, plans and suppOtting materials pertaining to this
application. In addition, the City's Planning and Zoning Department will prepare
and mail the required notices of public hearing in accordance with the City's Land
Development Code.
