OFFICE OF THE CITY MANAGER
MEMORANDUM
The Honorable Mayor & Members of the City Commission

November 21, 2017
Managers Report
Last week we enhanced our downtown beat for the holiday season. The Chief
and his leadership team also started walks in the downtown area moving out into
the entire City by next week to create some positive visibility.
OFO bikes are being used.
Week one: 106 rentals
Week two: 135 rentals
Total in two weeks: 241 bikes were rented and enjoyed
We are working vigilantly with the ofo team to assure proper rebalancing,
maintenance and that the bikes are parked in the correct spots. As you know, we
are working on getting the police department a promo code to help unlock bikes
if ever needed. The Ops guy, is available 24/7. Our ofo team works every day and
they know to make rounds morning, afternoon and evening.
Friday December 1 is the last day for any hurricane debris pick up. We have to
cut off our service due to FEMA regulations and practices so please have any last
debris out at the curb for pickup.
