4 - Attachment - 16ATTACHMENT 16 1 2 3 DRAFT 11-1-17 ORDINANCE NO. 4 An Ordinance pursuant to Section 20-5.7 providing for a Map Amendment to the City of South 5 Miami Official Zoning Map from Specialty Retail (SR) to Downtown SoMi (OS) on a 9.G8-acre 6 property known as The Shops at Sunset Place and as legally described herein. 7 8 WHEREAS, FRIT Shops at Sunset Place Fee Owner LLC has requested an amendment to the Official 9 Zoning Map to change the designation of the approximately 9.68-acre Shops at Sunset Place property 10 located southeast of US1 , north of SW 72 nd Street between SW 57 th Avenue and SW 58th Avenue from 11 Specialty Retail (SR) to Downtown SoMi (DS); and 12 13 WHEREAS, the Local Planning Agency reviewed the proposed amendment to the Official Zoning 14 Map , held an advertised public hearing on October 26, 2017, provided for public participation in the 15 process, and rendered its recommendation of approval to the City Commission on a vote of 6-1. 16 17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF 18 SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS: 19 20 Section 1.
