General Demolition Notes
0.1 CONTRACTOR TO REMOVE EXISITING PARTITIONS, CEILINGS,
DOORS, GLASS PANELS, CLOSETS (UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED),
LIGHT FIXTURES, MISCELLANOUS FURNITURE, ETC. AS INDICATED
ON PLANS.
0.2 PUT IN SAFE STORAGE A SMALL AMOUNT OF DOOR AND LIGHT
FIXTURES FOR FUTURE MAINTENANCE USE.
0.3 ITEMS INDICATED BY THE OWNER TO BE RELOCATED AND /OR
STORED MUST BE CAREFULLY REMOVED TO AVOID DAMAGE.
0.4 ALL APPLICABLE UTILITY COMPANIES MUST BE NOTIFIED OF THE
DEMOLITION TO TAKE PLACE.
0.5 ALL UTILITY LINES MUST BE PROPERLY CAPPED-OFF AND SEALED
ANTICIPATING THE FUTURE USE OF THE SPACE. ALL SLAB OPENINGS
MUST BE FILLED WITH FIRE SAFING INSULATION TO MAINTAIN THE
FIRE RATING OF THE SLAB.
0.6 CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH ALL APPLICABLE LOCAL, STATE
AND FEDERAL BUILDINGS CODES. PERMIT SHALL BE POSTED ON A
VISIBLE PLACE AT ALL TIMES.
0.7 CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR VISITING THE SITE PRIOR
TO BIDDING AND FAMILIARIZING HIMSELF WITH ALL EXISTING CONDITIONS
AFFECTING THE WORK, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PRIVATE AND
PUBLIC UTILITIES AND OTHER SUPPORT FACILITIES.
0.8 CONTRACTOR TO REMOVE, RELOCATE OR RE- ROUTE, AS NECESSARY, ALL
ELECTRICAL, WATER, GAS OR ANY OTHER UTILITY LINES ENCOUNTERED
DURING DEMOLITION AND CONSTRUCTION.
0.9 CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR INCLUDING IN HIS BID, WORK AND
MATERIAL COSTS FOR ANY CHANGE OR ALTERATION OF ADJACENT
AREAS TO BE DISTURBED DURING DEMOLITION AND CONSTRUCTION.
0.10 CONTRACTOR MUST NOTIFY ARCHITECT IMMEDIATELY OF ANY UNEXPECTED

CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, ANY ERRORS AND OMMISSIONS ON THE DRAWINGS

0.11 CONTRACTOR SHALL AVOID INTERFERENCE WITH THE NORMAL WORK FLOW

SHALL COORDINATE WITH OWNER'S SECURITY PROGRAM METHODS TO AVOID
UNAUTHORIZED ENTRY, VANDALISM AND THEFT.
0.12 IF THE NORMAL WORK FLOW OF AN AREA MUST BE INTERRUPTED IN ORDER
TO PROCEED WITH THE SCEDULE, PROPER NOTICE MUST BE GIVEN TO THE
