Recommendations were presented and accepted by Miami-Dade County and the Town of Cutler Bay. SW 208th Street is a four-lane undivided roadway (with unrestricted continuous left -turn lane) running in the east-west directions. The total length of the study segment along SW 208th Street is approximately 3,850 feet. The study corridor consists of three unsignalized intersections and two roadway segments. SW 87th Avenue is an urban collector and Old Cutler Road is an urban minor arterial. Te-M • T is industrial. The study addressed existing and future traffic conditions at three unsignalized intersections and two roadway segments, identified feasible improvement alternatives and provided recommendations. The following tasks were included in the scope of services: • Perform roadway and traffic data collection. • Perform field observations. • Perform existing level of service analysis. • Perform traffic projections for year 2030, • Perform future level of service analysis (year 2030). • Develop recommendations. • Present study results to Miami-Dade County for approval, • Present study results to Town • r final approval and a optiol (1) FIRM NAME a. -71) FIRM NAME b. (305) 593-6740 24: BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) As part of the Continuous Services contract with the City of Doral to provide Traffic Engineering Services, Marlin Engineering prepared a Citywide Traffic Calming Master Plan. The study area for the Traffic Calming Master Plan was defined by Section Seven Area of the City of Doral, within the following boundaries.- NW 107th Avenue on the east, NW 90th Street to the north, NW 117th Avenue to the west, and NW 74th Street to the south. Prior to the study, a review of the Land Development Code and Roadway Functional Classification was performed and an Access Management Plan was developed for the study area. Field observations and analysis of the data collected were completed at potential locations where concerns such as traffic volumes, speeding, and traffic intrusion were identified. These locations were reviewed and determined to be warranted for the implementation of traffic calming measures. Engineering services for the preparation of the Traffic Calming Master Plan included Kick-Off and Coordination Meetings, Data Collection, Engineering Analysis, Public Involvement, Development of a Traffic Calming Master Plan, and Final Approval and Presentation to City Commission, Furthermore, a shared-use path/bicycle path was designed by Marlin Engineering along the existing FPL easement (NW 50th Street), from NE 107th Avenue to NW 117th Avenue. Topographic survey, geometric and pavement design, signing and pavement marking, permit coordination, and public involvement were some of the tasks performed as part of this effort. 25.
