Res No 053-17-14854RESOLUTION NO. 053-17-14854 A Resolution relating to appropriations for the November 8,2016 Special Elections for the City of South Miami; approving the expenditure of $6,613.81 for election costs. WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of South Miami approved $10,000.00 with the FY 2016-2017, budgeted to cover the cost of the November 8, 2016 Special Elections relating to proposed Charter amendments; and, WHEREAS, the City has received an invoice from the Miami-Dade County Elections Department totaling $6,613.81. NOW mEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The attached invoice for election costs received from Miami-Dade County Elections Department for the November 8, 2016 Special Elections in the total amount of $6,613.81 is approved for payment; charging account no. 001-1200-512-4920 (Elections), with a balance of $10,000.00. Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
