Res. No. 177-97-10147RESOLUTION NO.177-97-10147 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI,FLORIDA,RELATING TO THE RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD;APPOINTING MR.THOMAS W. RISAVY TO SERVE FOR A TWO YEAR TERM ENDING SEPTEMBER 2, 1999 OR UNTIL A SUCCESSOR IS DULY APPOINTED AND QUALIFIED. WHEREAS,The Mayor and Commission recognize the important contributions made by those who serve on the various city boards and committees,and wish to appoint a full complement to each of the active boards and committees; WHEREAS,the city Commission desires to appoint Mr.Thomas W.Risavy to serve on the Recreation Advisory Board until September 2,1999or until a successor is duly appointed and qualified. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI,FLORIDA: Section 1,The City Commission hereby appoints Mr. Thomas W.Risvay to serve on the Recreation Advisory Board. Section 2.The expiration date of this appointment shall expire September 2,1999oruntila successor isduly appointed and qualified.
