My understandings on the material covered are summarized in this --Awnings-- South Mami- Hospital is requesting authorization to add an awning to cover a designated smoking area. This is not visible from any public right-of-way and is located on the north wall ♦ the parking garage adjacent to a service driveway between the hospital and the parking garage, It is of the same color as the existing awnings at the Hospital. Approval of this awning, which covers approximately 144 square feet, will be requested as a major change. An Affiliate of Baptist Health Systems of South Florida r 411 IM A, Page 92 November 8, 199• Mr. Bill Mackey We checked the development order for the Hospital PUD and could not find a reference to this subject as we had hoped. The helistop use would be strictly for emergencies. When the garage was originally constructed in 1987, it was built with this possibility in mind. In fact, you may recall that the garage is structured for one additional level of parking. Please let me know what is necessary in order to obtain local approval for this application.
