ORDINANCE 706ORDINANCE NO. 2 -71 -706 ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION 4 -4(c), CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA, BY EXTENDING UNTIL 2 A.M. HOURS WHEN HOLDERS Or CERTAIN ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE LICENSES MAY HAVE MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT; PROVIDING PENALTY FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF; AND EXPRESSING IN- TENT THAT SAME BE INCLUDED IN THE CITY CODE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section _1. That Section 4 -4(c), Code of Ordinances, City of South Miami, Florida, is hereby amended to read as follows: "Sec. 4 -4. Regulations for premises. Premises for sale of alcoholic beverages shall be con- trolled as follows: (c) Vocal or instrumental music, other entertainment. No person, firm or corporation licensed under any ordinance of the city shall allow or permit between the hours of two o'clock A.M,4 and seven o'clock A.M. instrumental music, singing or other forms of en- tertainment in any room where beer, wines, liquors or alcoholic beverages are sold or offered for sale, or in any room or other enclosure connected direct- ly or indirectly thereto by or through any stairway, hallway., doorway, or other means of ingress or egress. Night clubs, as herein defined, shall be excepted. Exceptions to this section may be per- mitted on festival. occasions, New Year's Eve, et- cetera, by notice to police department." �9.e_cticm 2.
