ORDINANCE 770ORDINANCE NO. 27-72-770
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI,
FLORIDA, CHANGING THE 'ZONING OF CERTAIN
DESCRIBED PROPERTY FROM RB-2: TOWNHOUSE TO
RB-1 DUPLEX CLUSTER RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the Planning Board has held hearings with regard
to the property herein rezoned, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Board has recommended the change
in zoning herein sought to be made, and
WHEREAS, the property herein zoned is occupied by
residential homes,, and
WHEREAS, the rezoning of said property from RS-3 Single
Family, to RB-2 Townhouse, has caused an inequitable conflict
between tax assessments, good planning, and zoning procedures, and
WHEREAS, the City desires to alleviate the inequitable
tax of the residents in the said area, and at the same time reaffirm
its adherence to its "Master Plan" concept without setting precedent
and/or doing violence to the "Master Plan."
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OR SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA-
