ORDINANCE 787ORDINANCE N0. 16 -73 -787 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA, ADOPTING BUDGET FOR 1973 -74 FISCAL YEAR PURSUANT TO CHAVER REQUIREMENTS, WHEREAS, the City Manager has submitted a proposed budget together with a budget message and ,supporting schedules; and WHEREAS, the City Council has held a public hearing for the purpose of hearing the views of all interested persons as required by Section 2. Article IV, Paragraph B and C of the Chapter; and WHEREAS, after the conclusion of such public hearing, the Council made such changes in the budget as it found advisable and necessary without increasing the total of the proposed expenditures; BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI,- FLORIDA: Section 1, That the budget for the fiscal year 1973 -74 as submitted by the City Manager in the amount of $2,015,339 and amended by the Council without increasing the total of the pro- posed budget, be and the same hereby is APPROVED and ADOPTED; a copy of such amended budget being attached hereto and by reference made apart hereof. It is the intent that this ordinance and every provision thereof shall be considered separable, and the invalidity of any section, clause, pro- vision, or portion of any section, clause, or provision of this ordinance shall not affect the validity of any other portion of this ordinance.
