Re: Structural Support of
Satellite Dish Antenna
Dear Ed:
I am pleased to inform you that we have completed an
investigation of the structural support of the satellite dish
antenna located at the northeast corner of your residence. We
have performed an analysis of the supporting structure for the
dish antenna based on manufacturer's technical specifications
and The South Florida Building Code requirement.
Based on our findings, it is the opinion of this office that
the supporting elements of the 12 ft. diameter dish antenna as
installed meets all pertinent requirements of the South
Florida Building Code.
The method for this evaluation is strict interpretation of the
South Florida Building Code 1988 Edition, Section 2309.2(a)
Table 23-C, Section 3402-2(B) and technical data furnished by
the manufacturer of the satellite dish antenna.
