ORDINANCE 887ORDINANCE NO. 7 -76 -887 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA, AMENDING SUBSECTION 2 OF SECTION 7 OF ARTICLE VIII OF SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 20 -71 -724, HERETOFORE ADOPTED AS THE OFFICIAL ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA, BY CHANGING THE REQUIRED WIDTH OF U.S. HIGHWAY NO. 1, A /K /A ,SOUTH DIXIE HIGHWAY, FROM 116 FEET TO 100 FEET, AND BY CHANGING THE MEASUREMENTS Fl FOR SETBACKS OF BUILDING LINES, AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. That Subsection 2 of Section 7 of Article VIII of Section 1 of Ordinance No_. 20 -71 -724, heretofore adopted as the Official Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Miami, Florida, be, and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: ".02 U.S. Highway No. 1, also known as South Dixie Highway, shall be one hundred '(100) feet in width. Except where existing structures prevent, all measurements for setback of building lines shall be made from a line parallel to the center line of said highway and seventy (70) feet therefrom on the southeast; side and thirty (30) feet therefrom on the northwest side." Section 2. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith be, and the same are hereby repealed. PASSED and ADOPTED this 20th day of April, 1976.
