ORDINANCE 963ORDINANCE NO. 46 -77 -963 AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE MILLACE AND LEVYING TAXES IN THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA, FOR CALENDAR YEAR :1977. WHEREAS, tax assessments for all of Dade County for the calendar year 1977 have been made by the Dade County Commission; and WHEREAS, the C.,un.,' Commission has de=termined the estimated total non - exempt aggregate valuation of taxable property in the City of South Miami, Florida for the calendar year 1977, to be $149,023,963. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA; Section 1. That there shall be and hereby is levied capon the non- exempt aggregate assessed, value of all property in the City of South Miami, Florida, a tax of 5.437 mills on the dollar for the calendar year 1977, for the benefit.of operational expenses of the General Fund for the government of the City of South Miami, for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1977, and ending September 30, 1978. Section 2. That this Ordinance shall become effective upon its adoption in the manner provided by law. - Attest: PASSED and ADOPTED this 20th day of September 1977.
