AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI,
FLORIDA, GRANTING A VARIANCE TO THE PLAZA
7000 BUILDING TO PERMIT AN ADDITIONAL FLAT
SIGN ON A WALL FACING THE SOUTH PROPERTY
LINE (SUNSET DRIVE) INSTEAD OF FACING THE
SIDE STREET PURSUANT TO A CERTAIN DESCRIBED
ELEVATION PLAN MARKED EXHIBIT "A ", AND WHICH
E.LE17ATION PLAN IS ON FILE WITH THE CITY
CLERK, AS TO CERTAIN DESCRIBED PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 7000 SOUTHWEST 62ND AVENUE, SOUTH
MIAMI, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the Planning Advisory Board of the City of
South Miami, Florida, has recommended the approval of the variance
hereinafter. granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT 'ORDAINED BY THE M YOR AND CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Plaza 7000 Building be, and
it is hereby granted a, variance to permit an additional flat
sign on a wall facing the South property line (Sunset Drive)
instead of facing the side street, pursuant to that certain
Elevation Plan prepared by Rentscher, Iiaynes, Spencer and Richards,
Architects and Planners, dated October 25, 1977, copy of which
Elevation Plan is narked Exhibit "A ", and which Elevation Plan
is on. .file with the City Clerk,, on the property located at
7000 Southwest 62nd Avenue, South Miami, Florida, and more
particularly described as:
The Bast 145 feet of the North 115 feet of the East
of the SE o of the SE 4 of the SW a of Section
25 -54 -40 East and South 130 feet of the North 245 feet
of East J� of the SE 4 of the SE k of Section
25- 54-40, Dade County, Florida.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 17th flay of January , 1,979.
