State Road 7 at three different locations. Each project has a contractor, different from each other and each project is located
within different jurisdiction from each other.
SR 7 from Orange Drive to south of 1-595: This project consisted primarily on milling, resurfacing, sidewalk construction along
with a Joint Project Agreement with the Town of Davie for landscaping and irrigation improvements along SR 7. Construction
cost was $1,052,243.35 and the physical length of the project was 1.0 Mile. The Contractor operations had to be coordinated
with an adjacent project along 1-595 because of the project hours. Milling and resurfacing was done at night while sidewalk,
landscaping, irrigation and signalization improvements took place during the day. The duration of this project was 8 months and
was completed on September 11, 2010.
SR 7 from Bailey Rd to Blvd of Champions: This project consists of milling, resurfacing, sidewalk, signalization upgrades,
hardscape (stamped concrete) along SR 7 within the limits of the City of North Lauderdale, Construction cost is estimated at
$850,305 and the physical length of the project is 0.5 Miles. This project highlight was the installation of stamped concrete along
the median in preparation for a future project by the City of North Lauderdale. Project duration is scheduled for 6 months and it is
scheduled to be completed ahead of schedule November 2010.
SR 7 from Cypress Canal to Sample Rd: This project consists of pavement reconstruction, pavement widening, drainagz
improvements, sidewalk upgrades, intersection signalization upgrades, milling, resurfacing, landscape and irrigation. The projed
lies within the City of Margate, Construction cost is $4,470,193.15 and the physical length of the project is 3.0 Miles, This is a
multiple operation project both day and night so the main challenge is to ensure the travelling public is not adversely affected,

All three jobs are happening concurrently with different contractors under different construction contracts. One of the projects is
Federally Funded as well as State Funded.
