Tasks performed may include preliminary meeting and investigations with City staff, regulatory agencies, and subconsuItants to develop project objectives, prepare and present Schematic Design concepts, project schedules, statements of probable construction costs, and constructability review reports. During the design phase, constant coordination with the relevant City Departments, residents and jurisdictional agencies is imperative to realizing the intent of the project while staying on time and within budget. From the approved design development, Construction Documents will be prepared and submitted to the City at 60%, 90% and final stages. As part of the scope of work, these documents must be permitted by the applicable regulatory agencies before they are issued to the Contractors during the Bidding phase.
