ROK:BRGR ("the applicant") has submitted a Special Event Application to hold its 3rd Annual Fall Festival ("Festival") on Wednesday, November 23 rd , 2016. The applicant would like to host a fall festival and extend their business onto 58t~ avenue from 73 rd street to 74th street in celebration of the fall season. The applicant will have twelve (12) 10 X 10 tents located along the street; all sidewalks will remain open to the public. Barricades and police vehicles will block traffic on 58th avenue on 73 rd Street and 74th Street. The ROK:BRGR Fall Festival will consist of live music, food and beverages. All food and beverages will be catered and sold by the applicant. The Festival will be free to the public; food and beverages will be sold from the tents located along the street closure. This event has an anticipated attendance of 400 people and will be held from 8:00 PM -1:00 AM. The applicant has submitted the necessary Notification/Petition Form signed by businesses that will be affected by the requested street closure. Upon approval of this event the applicant must provide the City with the required Certificate of Liability Insurance that complies with the City's standard insurance requirements, including naming the City of South Miami as an additional insured prior to the event. The past two (2) festivals held by the applicant were very successful and no incidents were reported. The applicant has paid the City $660, which includes $60 application fee, $100 administrative fee, and the $500 refundable deposit. The City Manager herby is authorized to permit ROK:BRGR to host its 3rd Annual Fall Festival on 58th avenue from 73 rd street to 74th street. Section 2. If any section clause, sentence, or phrase of this resolution is for any reason held invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, the holding shall not affect the validity ofthe remaining portions ofthis resolution.
