25 Vice Mayor Welsh requested that his next year's $1,500 discretionary fund be used
26 for the installation of two bus benches at the area of 42nd Terrace and 62nd Court.

28 Regarding the City parks acquisition and maintenance fund, the City Manager
29 explained that the intention is to have money set aside in the event that an opportunity comes

1 up to purchase land for a park because the residents appreciate having a park at walking
2 distance.

4 Furthermore, the City Manager assured the Commission that there is nothing in the
5 budget that gives him the authority to begin the process to sell any of the parks, such as South
6 Miami, Jean Willis, the Underline, the Ludlum Trail.
