Mr. Riverol provided information about the City investments.
28 The Commission also discussed the proposed welcome signs to the City, and color
29 renderings of the designs were shown. About the $300,000 allocated for the cost of the signs, it

1 was proposed to allocate the money for something else of more benefit to the residents;
2 Commissioner Welsh then offered to take care of the construction of the signs.

A motion was made to move the $5,000 from last year's installation of orchids, to
which the City Manager informed that the orchids have been ordered but none have been
installed yet because they go through a long process until they grow to the right size; the
motion which was seconded by Commissioner Liebman was later withdrawn.
