An Ordinance Amending the Official Zoning Map, as authorized by Section 20-3.1(C), and other 3
applicable provisions, amending the designation of the Marshall Williamson property located 4
south of SW 64th Terrace approximately between SW 60th Avenue and SW 61st Court, from 5
Single-Family Residential District RS-4 to RT-9. 6

WHEREAS, the City of South Miami has prepared an amendment to the Official Zoning Map to 8
change the designation of the approximately .85 acre Marshall Williamson property located south of SW 9
64th Terrace between SW 60th Avenue and SW 61st Court from Single-Family Residential RS-4 to RT-9; 10
and 11

WHEREAS, the Local Planning Agency has reviewed or will review the proposed amendment to 13
the Official Zoning Map, and it has held or will hold an advertised public hearing and provide for public 14
participation in the process and rendered its recommendation to the City Commission before final 15
reading and enactment. 16

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF 18
SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS: 19

Section 1. The City of South Miami hereby adopts an amendment to the Official Zoning Map 21
changing the designation for the Marshall Williamson property, located south of SW 64th Terrace 22
approximately between SW 60th Avenue and SW 61st Court, from Single-Family Residential District RS-4 23
to RT-9. A copy of the pertinent part of the Map is attached hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibit 24
“A”. 25

Section 2. Codification. The provisions of this Ordinance shall become and be made part of the 27
Official Zoning Map of the City of South Miami as amended. 28

Section 3. Severability. If any section, clause, sentence, or phrase of this Ordinance is for any 30
reason held invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, this holding shall not affect 31
the validity of the remaining portions of this Ordinance. 32

Section 4. Ordinances in Conflict. All ordinances or parts of ordinances and all sections and 34
parts of sections of ordinances in direct conflict herewith are hereby repealed. 35

Section 5. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall become effective upon the Comprehensive Plan 37
amendment to the future land use map for the property identified in Section 1 herein, adopted this 38
same date, becoming effective as provided by Chapter 163. 39
