The Special Events Division received four (4) donations in the amount of $8,500 from Baptist Health South Florida ($4,000), First National Bank of South Miami ($1,000), Williamson Cadillac ($500), and LAZ parking ($3,000). These donations will be used toward the purchase of decorations, entertainment, fireworks and other event-related expenditures associated with the 2016 Fourth of July Celebration event. DONORS & AMOUNT: Please find below a breakdown of all submitted donations. The City Manager is authorized to accept donation contributions in the amount of 17 $8,500 for the 2016 Fourth of July celebration event, increasing the expenditure line item 001-2000-572- 18 4820, Promotional Activities/Special Events, with a current balance of $13,898, by $8,500. 19 20 Section 2. Severability. If any section clause, sentence, or phrase of this resolution is for any 21 reason held invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, the holding shall not affect 22 the validity of the remaining portions of this resolution. 23 Section 3. Effective Date.
