( Sys a-i-, 3 % January 13, 2012 Throughout the project life, our manager will maintain an open line of communication with our client and provide unsolicited frequent project updates to keep the client informed of the project progress. All critical engineering elements and unforeseen project challenges are brought to the client's attention along with proposed solutions and a clear explanation of the pros and cons for those solutions. Continuous project quality improvement such as this and ongoing direct client communication allows unforeseen conditions to be handled in a very open and solution-oriented manner. The HBC Team understands the importance of maintaining a project within budget and on schedule. We continuously review our projects and update the project cost estimate to ensure the latest available cost data is effectively applied to the project. Project management software tools such as MS Project will be utilized to monitor the project schedule and assure the project is delivered in a timely manner. 3. Control of Budget The key element in controlling the project budget from both an engineering and construction point of view is to provide very experienced support staff to produce the project. In addition, through on-going constructability reviews, issues regarding construction of the project will be brought up during the design phase. This is extremely valuable because it is less expensive to change a set of plans than have change orders and costly construction delays in the field. Another important control is effective utility coordination and location. The HBC Tear will coordinate closely with the utility owners early in the design phase to ensure that all utility relocation schedules are in place and that utility impact and or adjustment are clearly demonstrated in the plans. Moreover, the cost estimate for the proposed improvement will be tracked and submitted with each phase review submittal. 4. Quality Control Process Our quality control process is structured to meet our stringent requirements for accuracy, appropriateness, cost effectiveness, completeness, constructability, compatibility and compliance with appropriate technical standards. Completeness Reviews - to assure compliance with the degree of completeness required for each phase. Quality Control Reviews ensure that all evaluations, reports, database, estimates, etc. will be independently checked by senior-level professionals other than those preparing those documents. 13155 SW 134th Street, Suite 207, Miami, Florida 33186 (305) 232-7932 Phone (305) 2328-7933 Fax www.hbcengineeringco.com 1,etter of Interest - Street Light Au dil Services it of South Miami 1,113(.1,.' haqu6necri- C5 January 13,2012 Section III - Supportive Information Organizational Chart MD Rahman, PE (cA) Faisal Aware, PE Tejsingh Rana, E.U.
