Res No 092-16-14647RESOLUTION NO.092-16-14647 A Resolution authorizing the City Manager to waive one-hundred percent (100%)of the non-profit fees for the use of the Education Room at the Gibson-Bethel Community Center by the South Miami Community Advisory Committee to host monthly meetings on the third Monday of every month for twelve (12)months. WHEREAS,the South Miami Community Advisory Committee would like to host monthly meetings in the Education Room every from 7:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.for twelve (12)months;and WHEREAS,the applicant will begin meeting on Monday,June 20,2016 until Monday,June 19,2017 on the third Monday of every month;and WHEREAS,the South Miami Community Advisory Committee gives residents the opportunity to identify community conditions in which low-income families live;and WHEREAS,the applicant is requesting a one-hundred percent (100%)waiver for the use of the EducationRoomrentalfee($240)and the security deposit ($100)in the amount of $340;and WHEREAS,upon approval of the aforementioned waived fees,the final cost for the rental is $0.00. NOW,THEREFORE,BEIT RESOLVED BYTHE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OFTHECITY OF SOUTH MIAMI,FLORIDA THAT: Section 1.The City Manager is hereby authorized to permit South Miami Community Advisory Committee to host monthly meetings for twelve (12)months on the third Monday of every month. Section 2.The City Manager is hereby authorized to waive the Non-profit Rental Feesin the amount of$340for the useof the EducationRoomat the Gibson-Bethel Community Center. Section 3.Effective Date.This resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption by vote of the City Commission.
