Res No 075-16-14630RESOLUTION NO.:075-16-14630 A Resolution authorizing the City Manager to permit TacoCraft Miami,LLC located at 5829 SW 73rd Street,to hold its Grand Opening Celebration -Taco Craft's Cinco De Mayo BlockParty,and to waive the cost of parking meters. WHEREAS,TacoCraftMiami,LLC has submitted aSpecialEvent Application to holdits Grand Opening Celebration on Thursday,May5,2016 in downtown South Miami;and WHEREAS,the applicant is requesting astreet closure on 73rd Streetand 58th Avenue; and WHEREAS,the applicant haspaid the City$660,which includes $500 refundable security deposit,$100 administrative fee and$60 application fee;and WHEREAS,the applicant is responsible topay the CityforPolice($960),Street Closure andMOT($270)andParking Meters ($400),totaling $1,630;and WHEREAS,the applicant is requesting a waiver for the cost of16 parking meters (16 meters x$25)in the amount of $400;and WHEREAS,if the City Commission waives the Parking Meter fees,the applicant willbe responsible topay the remainingservices rendered totaling $1,230;and WHEREAS,the applicant has completed the SpecialEventApplicationandhas submitted the necessary notification/petition formsignedby businesses that willbe affected by the requested street closure.
