INTER-OFFICE MEMORANDUM
The Honorable Mayor & Members of the City Commission
Steven Alexander, City Manager
Kelly Barket Jr., Director of Public Works
Agenda Item No.:ll February 16, 2016
A Resolution authorizing the City Manager to purchase an electronic fuel
monitoring board from Petroleum Testing Services Inc.
The current electronic fuel monitoring board console for the Police fuel pumps
at City Hall has failed. The system depends on a functioning console for all fuel
monitoring requirements.
A monitoring system is required for all regulatory certifications. The system will
provide several major safety measurements, including but not limited to, leak
detection, pressure measurements, dispensing fuel levels and tank
contamination.
PSR Inc. will supply and install one functional complete VeedeRoot TLS-350 plus
monitoring system with integrated printer and module and all applicable
compliance monitoring sensors, wiring, materials, conduit, tank connections,
labor and Final Annual Certification as indicated in option #3 on the attached
proposal.
The monitoring system to be installed is compatible with the current
operational system in use by the City. PSR Inc. was the lowest and most
responsive bidder and met all requirements of the scope needed for services.
