PR2014-15 Date: January 20, 2015 Sent: Fax/E-mail/webpage This addendum submission is issued to clarify, supplement and/or modify the previously issued Solicitation, and is hereby made part of the Documents. All requirements of the Documents not modified herein shall remain in full force and effect as originally set forth. It shall be the sole responsibility of the bidder to secure Addendums that may be issued for a specific solicitation. Question #1 On page 71 of 80 in the Bid Packet, Exhibit 1; Scope of Services, you mentioned the demolishing of 3 swings structures, but I count 4 when you go park by park: • One at Brewer Park • Two at Dante Fascell Park • One at Murray Park Please clarify. Answer to Question #1: The Contractor shall be responsible to demolish four (4) swing structures at the following parks: • One (1) at Brewer Park • Two (2) at Dante Fascell Park • One (1) at Murray Park Question #2: Murray Park has an incomplete concrete curb around the perimeter. Where it’s separated there’s a swing set. What do you want us to do with the incomplete curbing? And how do you want us to address the swings at this location … inside the curbing or outside of it? Page 2 of 2 Answer to Question #2: The swings at Murray Park are be installed outside the existing concrete curbing. The contractor is to leave the curbing in as-is condition. The new swings sets are to be installed outside the existing concrete curbing. Question: #3: At Fuchs Park there’s a 2 Bay swing set out in the open with no safety surfacing or borders. Do you want us to provide Black Recycled Borders and wood mulch for this, too? Answer to Question #3 Yes, the contractor is to provide black recycled borders and wood mulch at Fuchs Park. Question #4: At several parks the swings are placed separately from the playgrounds. Do you want Wood Mulch Safety Surfacing with Recycled Black Borders around both swings & playgrounds at these parks? Answer to Question #4: Yes, wood mulch safety surfacing with recycled black borders is to be placed around both swings and playgrounds at park locations where the swings are placed separately from the playgrounds. IT SHALL BE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BIDDER TO SECURE ADDENDUMS THAT MAY BE ISSUED FOR A SPECIFIC SOLICITATION.
