No. 004-98-10271RESOLUTION NO.4-98-10271 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI,FLORIDA,AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO DISBURSE FUNDS FOR REPAIR OF THE ALLADIN MODEL 4530 HOT WATER PRESSURE WASHER BYJ.PROSSER ENTERPRISES,INC.IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,688.13 AND CHARGING THE DISBURSEMENT TO ACCOUNT NUMBER 1760-519-4680,OUTSIDE SERVICES. WHEREAS,the Public Works Department must maintain equipment and certain right of ways that require theuse of a Pressure Washer,and; WHEREAS,the repairs tothis equipment is provided byJ.Prosser Enterprises,Inc.asthesole source available to complete these repairs,and; WHEREAS,thePublicWorksDepartmentneedstohavethis machine readyand operating atan optimum levelto assure proper maintenance of equipment andright of ways suchas sidewalks,and; WHEREAS,the purchase of anew pressure washer of this capacity would cost several times the cost of repair. NOW THEREFORE,beit RESOLVED bythe MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION of the CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI,FLORIDA that: Section 1.The City has received a quote for repair fromJ.Prosser Enterprises,Inc.which isthe sole provider of this service. Section 2.TheCity Manager isauthorizedtodisbursethesum of $2,688.13toJ.Prosser Enterprises,Inc.forrepair of theAlladinModel4530HotWaterPressureWasher.
