WHEREAS,the Mayor and Commission recognizethe important contributions madeby those who serve on the various city boards and committees,and wish to appoint afull complement to each of the active boards and committees;and WHEREAS,theCity Commission desiresto re-appoint Alfredo Riveroltoserveforatwo yeartermonthe Pension Board.Appointment shallexpireMarch 14,2018 oruntilasuccessoris duly appointed and qualified;and WHEREAS,asperSec.2-22 "Term Limits"of theCity of SouthMiamiCode of Ordinances,an appointee maynotbe re-appointed tothesame commission,boardor committee after completion of two(2)consecutive terms unless atleastone year has elapsed between theterm limited position and the effective date of commencement of the proposed appointment foranew term,commencing with appointments made after January 1,2009;.and WHEREAS,Mr.Riverol second two-year term expired October 1,2014.
