07-790R-018GENERAL NOTES 1. EXAMINATION OF CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND SITE OF WORK. THE BIDDER IS REQUIRED, BEFORE SUBMITTING HIS PROPOSAL, TO VISIT THE SITE OF THE PROPOSED WORK AND FAMILIARIZE HIMSELF WITH THE NATURE AND EXTENT OF THE WORK AND ANY LOCAL CONDITIONS THAT MAY IN ANY MANNER, AFFECT THE WORK TO BE DONE AND EQUIPMENT, MATERIALS AND LABOR REQUIRED THEREFORE. SINCE THE WORK INVOLVES EXISTING BUILDING SYSTEMS AND FACILITIES, SPECIAL CONSIDERATION SHALL BE GIVEN TO EXAMINATION OF WORKING CONDITIONS. 2. AS -BUILT DWG'S SHALL BE PREPARED BY THE CONTRACTOR AND MAINTAINED DURING THE COURSE OF CONSTRUCTION. AS -BUILT DRAWINGS MUST BE KEPT CURRENT TO EACH WEEK'S INSTALLATION AND RECORDED ON A CLEAN FIELD SET MARKED "AS- BUILT" SET. AS -BUILT DRAWINGS SHALL BE PREPARED ON VELLUM PAPER OR OTHER MEDIA WHICH WILL PERMIT REPRODUCTION BY NORMAL PRINTING METHODS. THE DRAWINGS SHALL BECOME THE PROPERTY OF THE OWNER.
