CONDUIT AND CONDUCTOR SIZE AND TYPES. REFER TO
SPECIFICATIONS.
E. CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL HARDWARE AND
SOFTWARE TO SUPPORT EXTENSION OF FIRE ALARM SYSTEM.
F. VISUAL DEVICES TO BE IN SYNC WITH EACH OTHER AND AUDIBLE
DEVICES TO BE IN SYNC WITH EACH OTHER.
G. AUDIBLE AND VISUAL DEVICES TO BE ON DIFFERENT CIRCUITS.
H. STROBES TO BE 75 CANDELA EVERYWHERE.
I. VOLTAGE DROP AND BATTERY LOAD CALCULATIONS TO BE PROVIDED
AND VERIFIED AT SUBMITTAL PROCESS.
J. FIRE ALARM SYSTEM SHALL BE NETWORKED WITH EXISTING NOTIFIER
SYSTEM.
K. FURNISH TVSS PER SPECIFICATIONS ON ALL COPPER CABLING ENTERING
THE BUILDING.
L. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE CONNECTION TO THE OWNER'S
EXISTING FIRE ALARM SYSTEM. PROVIDE ALL NECESSARY SYSTEM
CABINETS, POWER SUPPLIES, MICRO- CONTROLLERS, KEYBOARD
DISPLAYS, LED DISPLAYS, BATTERIES, PERIPHERAL DEVICES, VOICE
EVACUATION SYSTEMS, ETC. FOR A COMPLETE AND FUNCTIONING
SYSTEM. FIRE ALARM SYSTEM COMPONENETS SHALL MATCH EXISTING.
M. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING THE
EXISTING FIRE ALARM PROTECTION UNTIL NEW DEVICES HAVE BEEN
PRPERLY CERTIFIED AND APPROVED BY THE AUTHORITY HAVING
JURISDICTION. ALL EXISTING WIRING, BOXES, CONDUITS SERVING THE
DEVICES TO BE REMOVED SHALL. BE DEMOLISHED. ALL INACTIVE
WIRING SHALL BE LABELLED "ABANDONED -DO NOT USE."
N. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE SMOKE DETECTOR SENSITIVITY TEST
AND FIRE ALARM CERTIFICATION TO THE AHJ AT THE FINAL INSPECTION.
0. ALL FIRE/ SMOKE DAMPERS ARE TO BE COORDINATED WITH MECHANICAL
AND CONNECTED TO THE EXISTING CONTROL PANEL AT THE POWER
COMMAND CENTER AND ALL HORN/ STROBES ARE TO BE CONNECTED VIA
A POWER AMPLIFIER WITHIN THE BUILDING. CONTRACTOR SHALL VISIT THE
SITE TO VERIFY LOCATION OF ALL EQUIPMENT PRIOR TO BID. tHE A/C
UNIT SHALL SHUT DOWN UPON ACTIVATION OF FIRE ALARM.
