accounted for 2.35 percent of all traffic fatalities and approximately
48,000 bicyclists were injured in 2013. In 2013, 743 people lost their lives

compared to the national percentage of 2.35 percent. In 2012, the

Public agencies are required to maintain minimum reflectivity of
longitudinal pavement markings unless continuous lighting assures that
the markings are clearly visible at night. When Embedded, In-Road Solar
Markers (RRPMs) supplement or substitute for longitudinal lines,
minimum pavement retro reflectivity levels are not applicable.
