THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE REQUIRED TO STABILIZE SLOPED AREAS. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL GRADE AND SEED OR SOD THE AREA WITH THE PRO- VISION THAT HE SHALL MAINTAIN THE SEEDED OR SODDED AREA AS REQUIRED UNTIL SUCH TIME THAT THERE IS SUITABLE GROWTH TO ADEQUATELY PROTECT THE EMBANKMENT.
