I.- ALL PRODUCTS SHALL BE INSTALLED PER MANUFACTURER'S RECOMMENDATIONS, g.- THESE DRAWINGS DO NOT SHOW EVERY MINOR DETAIL OF CONSTRUCTION . THE CONTRACTOR SHALL FURNISH AND INSTALL ALL ITEMS REQUIRED FOR A COMPLETE BUILDING SYSTEM AND SHALL PROVIDE ALL REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL EQUIPMENT TO BE PLACED IN PROPER WORKING ORDER . 9.- EACH CONTRACTOR AND SUBCONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SAFETY AND WELL -BEING OF HIS EMPLOYEES AND ALL CONSTRUCTION SAFETY REGULATIONS INCLUDING OSHA ARE TO BE STRICTLY FOLLOWED . 10. ALL CONTRACTORS AND SUBCONTRACTORS SHALL BE CURRENTLY LICENSED IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA, DADE COUNTY AND LOCAL CITIES IF REQUIRED . PROVIDE COPIES OF LICENSES TO OWNER PRIOR TO COMMENCEMENT OF WORK . II.- THE CONTRACTOR SHALL REPAIR AND PAINT EXISTING: SURFACES DAMAGED BY DEMOLITION COVERED WITHIN THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. 12: THE CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE AND SCHEDULE THE WORK OF ALL TRADES TO INSURE THE WORK 15 COMPLETED IN A TIMELY MANNER, COMPLYING WITH THE OWNER/CONTRACTOR AGREEMENT. 13.- PRIOR TO COMMENCING WORK, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY LOCATION OF ALL EQUIPMENT AND UTILITIES TO BE REMOVED. REMOVALS SHALL BE COORDINATED WITH THE OWNER AND ALL BUILDING AND OTHER AUTHORITIES HAVING JURISDICTION. IF SO DIRECTED THE CONTRACTOR SHALL INCLUDE ANY ADDITIONAL COST TO HIS BID. 14.- THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE AN ON 51TE DUMPSTER IN A LOCATION APPROVED MY THE OWNER FOR THE DISPOSAL OF REMOVED MATERIAL. 15.- THE CONTRACTOR SHALL ESTABLISH A SCHEDULE FOR DEMOLITION PROCEDURES AND OPERATIONAL SEQUENCE FOR REVIEW AND ACCEPTANCE OF THE OWNER 16.- GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL ESTABLISH A SCHEDULE SHOWING TIME OF DAY AREA AND MEANS OF TRAVEL THROUGH PREMISES FOR DISPOSAL OF DEBRIS FOR THE OWNER 17.- THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PROTECTION OF HIS WORK, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO VANDALISM, THEFT, ETC. ADDITIONALLY, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE OWNER AND HIS TENANTS' PROPERTY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY DAMAGE, VANDALISM, THEFT, ETC. THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE THE ARCHITECT WITH REDLINED AS -BUILT DRAWINGS FOR ANY AND ALL FIELD CHANGES AND /OR ADDITIONS TO THE WORK INCLUDED IN THE DRAWINGS. IS.- ALL CONTRACTORS AND SUBCONTRACTORS SHALL CARRY THE MINIMUM WORKi LAN's COMPENSATION, LIABILITY AND AUTOMOBILE INSURANCE REQUIRED BY THE STATE OF FLORIDA AND HIGHER LIMITS IF REQUIRED BY THE OWNER . PROVIDE INSURANCE CERTIFICATES TO OWNER BEFORE COMMENCEMENT OF WORK. 20. PROVIDE STUD BACKING* IN WALL CAVITY TO SUPPORT WALL MOUNTED DOOR STOPS, GRAB BARS, AND MISC. ITEMS. COORDINATE HEIGHT ABOVE FLOOR . 21. THE WORDING 'ALIGN' DENOTES GYPSUM BOARD SHEATHING OVER FACE OF BASE BUILDING COLUMNS AND WALL SURFACES AT JUNCTION WITH INTERIOR PARTITION TO ALIGN THE TWO DISSIMILAR PARTS AND PROVIDE A SMOOTH CRACK FREE SURFACE (TYPICAL ALL CONDITIONS). 22. ALL WORK SHALL BE PERFORMED TO MEET AND COMPLY WITH FLORIDA BUILDING CODE- 2001 EDITION. CHAPTER 11- FLORIDA ACCESSIBILITY CODE FOR BUILDING CONSTRUCTION. 23. CONTRACTOR SHALL ACQUAINT HIMSELF WITH THESE DOCUMENTS AND THE SITE. ANY OVERSIGHT OF CONFLICTS HEREIN NOT REPORTED IN WRITING TO THE ARCHITECT/ENGINEER PRIOR TO BIDDING, SHALL NOT ENTITLE THE CONTRACTOR TO AN EXTRA. 24. DIMENSIONS AS INDICATED ON THE DRAWINGS SHALL TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER SCALING OF THE DRAWINGS. THE DIMENSIONS INDICATED ON THE DRAWINGS ARE CALCULATED BY COMPUTER AND ARE ROUNDED TO THE NEAREST INCH. SCHEDULES, O- IGANIZING AND COORDINATION I.- COORDINATE WITH BUILDING MANAGER AND 15UII-DING OCCUPANTS FOR USE OF POWER, WORKING HOURS, ROUTES FOR WORKMAN'S TRAVEL, LOCATIONS OF DUMPSTERS AND CONSTRUCTION VEHICLES, ETC. 2.- THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PREPARE THE JOB SITE PARTITION LAYOUT FOR REVIEW OF ARCHITECT PRIOR TO ERECTION PARTITIONS. FILL AND SEAL PENETRATIONS TO MAINTAIN FIRE RATINGS. 3.- CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SCHEDULING AND IMPLEMENTING ALL WORK 50 AS NOT TO DISRUPT OR INCONVENIENCE THE EXISTING OCCUPANTS OR ADJOINING OCCUPANTS. 4.- ALL ACTIVITIES GENERATING EXCESSIVE NOISE, WHICH WOULD INTERFERE WITH TENANT'S RIGHTS TO OCCUPANCY MUST, BE SCHEDULED AFTER NORMAL WORKING HOURS. 5.- ANY DISRUPTION OF BUILDING UTILITIES WHICH WOULD IMPACT OCCUPIED AREAS MUST BE SCHEDULED AFTER NORMAL WORKING HOURS. PROVIDE SAMPLES FOR OWNER'S SELECTION UNLESS OTHERWISE SCHEDULED. 8.- PROVIDE FINISHES AS SCHEDULED OR NOTED. HARDWARE NOTES I.- ALL ENTRY HARDWARE MUST BE RE -KEYED AT THE TIME OF TURNOVER TO CLIENT. LOCKSMITH WILL PROVIDE KEYS DIRECTLY TO THE CLIENT. CONTRACTOR AND SUBCONTRACTORS ARE NOT TO BE PROVIDED COPIES OF ENTRY KEYS. CLEANING REQUIREMENTS THE JOB SITE SHALL BE MAINTAINED IN A SAFE AND NEAT CONDITION AT ALL TIMES. BROOM CLEANING SHALL BE PERFORMED AS NEEDED TO AVOID DEBRIS BUILD UP. ALL BUILDING MATERIALS SHALL BE STORED IN A SAFE AND ORGANIZED MANNER AT PROJECT COMPLETION, THE JOB SITE SHALL BE FULLY CLEANED AND TURNED OVER TO OCCUPANT LADY FOR THEM TO MOVE IN AND BEGIN OPERATING WITHOUT ANY ADDITIONAL. WORK OR CLEANING. THIS REQUIRES ALL SURFACES TO BE CLEANED WITH APPROPRIATE CLEANING SOLUTIONS, VACUUMED, AND WAXED /SEALED AS APPROPRIATE. ALL VCT SHALL BE SEALED AND WAXED. ALL MIRRORS, WINDOWS, HARDWARE, CABINETRY, WALL FINISHES AND FIXTURES ARE INCLUDED. CONSTRUCTION NOTES WHERE DISSIMILAR METALS COME IN CONTACT, CONTRACTOR 15 TO PREVENT VIBRATIONS AND NOISE TRANSMISSION BETWEEN METALS AND ELECTROLYTIC ACTION. PROVIDE DOUBLE STUDS AT ALL DOOR JAMBS AND BRACE. INTERIOR PARTITIONS SHALL BE OF THICKNESS INDICATED ON DRAWINGS.
