You recently requested symmetrical fault current Information at the FPt_ facilities at two
locations on the main campus of South Miami Hospital. As such, the f nform:atiorl Is as follows:
2 -1600 kVA .transformers in parallel, with a secondary voltage of 2771480 V In the main vault.
The symmetricaal fault current at this facility Is .64,000 Amps. This Is calculated with an actual
Impedance of 4.8% on each of the transformers. This assuma!s an infinite bus at the vault.
The 1600 kVA transformer In the same vault has .a symmetrical fault current of 31,000 Amps.
This also assumes an Infinite bus at the transforitler with an Actual impedance of 4.9 %.
{ The 1000 kVA transformer in the North Tower vault has a symmetrlcal fault current of 22,000
Amps. The carne assumptions apply with an actual impedance rating of 4.89%
