PHASING GENERAL NOTES
1. CONTRACTOR TO COORDINATE WITH HOSPITAL ANY SHUT- DOW/IN (MPE,
BLOCKING OF ENTRANCES) TO INSURE THE OPERATION AND SERVICES OF ALL
OCCUPIED AREAS OUTSIDE CONSTRUCTION AREA.
2. CONSTRUCT TEMPORARY PARTITIONS 1 BARRIERS AS PER SPECIFICATIONS
TO SEPARATE CONSTRUCTION WORK FROM OTHER AREAS OF THE BUILDING. ALL
TEMPORARY PARTITIONS MUST STAY IN PLACE UNTIL THE CEILING IS INSTALLED
AND THE ONLY WORK LEFT TO BE DONE IS MINOR FINISHES AND PUNCH LIST
ITEMS.
3. PRIOR TO PARTIAL OWNER OCCUPANCY OF EACH PHASE, MECHANICAL AND
ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS ARE TO BE FULLY OPERATIONAL.
4. PROVIDE SCHEDULE TO OWNER t ARCHITECT THAT SHOWS THE FOLLOWING:
BEGINNING AND END DATES OF EACH PHASE
DATES THAT COORDINATE SHUT -DOWN AND TIE -INS
ALL OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION THAT WILL AFFECT THE OWNERS
OCCUPANCY OF AREAS OUTSIDE THE LIMIT OF WORK.
5. NOTIFY IN WRITING TO OWNER AND ARCHITECT, WITHIN SEVEN WORKING
DAYS, AREAS OF THE BUILDING TO BE TURNED -OVER FOR CONSTRUCTION.
6. PERFORM THE NECESSARY DEMOLITION WORK REQUIRED TO COMPLETE
THE NEWWORK ON EACH PHASE, REFER TO DEMOLITION PLANS AND NOTES ON
SHEETAD111 IT IS THE CONTRACTORS RESPONSIBILITY TO DETERMINE WHAT
PORTION OF THE OVERALL DEMOLITION WORK IS REQUIRED FOR EACH PHASE,
PHASING KEYNOTES
PH -1 PROVIDE 10LB ABC FIRE EXTINGUISHER DURING CONSTRUCTION
ACTIVITIES.
PH 2 PROVIDE STICKY WALK OFF MAT ON BOTH SIDE OF ENTRANCE TO
CONSTRUCTION AREA.
E-3 CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE NEGATIVE AIR MACHINE DURING
CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES.
PH-4 CONTRACTOR TO PROVIDE "ZIP -ALL" ENTRANCE INTO
CONSTRUCTION AREA.
PH 5 TEMPORARY 1 -HOUR RATED PARTITION
PH 6 CONTRACTOR TO PROVIDE TEMPORARY 20 MINUTE FIRE RATED
DOOR WITH CLOSER AND CONSTRUCTION LOCK -SET.
