REPLACEMENT.
7. UNIT INSULATION AND ADHESIVE SHALL COMPLY WITH NFPA 90A
REQUIREMENTS FOR FLAME SPREAD AND SMOKE GENERATION.
INSULATION SHALL CONTAIN AN EPA REGISTERED IMMOBILIZED
ANTI - MICROBIAL AGENT TO EFFECTIVELY RESIST THE GROWTH OF
BACTERIA AND FUNGI IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM STANDARDS G21
AND G22.
8. FAN MOTOR SHALL BE HIGH EFFICIENCY TYPE.
9. FAN AND MOTORS SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH CIRCUIT PROTECTION.
10.
CONDENSATE DRAIN PANS SHALL BE INSULATED AND SLOPED TO
OUTLET. PANS SHALL HAVE STAINLESS STEEL LINERS. PROVIDE A
OVERFLOW DETECTION SYSTEM CAPABLE OF SHUTDOWN THE UNIT
UPON DETECTION OF HIGH LEVELS CONDENSATE DRAIN.
11.
SUPPORT UNIT HIGH ENOUGH ABOVE CEILING TO ACCOMMODATE
CONDENSATE DRAIN TRAPS IN ACCORDANCE WITH MANUFACTURER'S
RECOMMENDATIONS.
12.
THE FAN DRIVE SHALL BE SELECTED FOR 125% OF THE MOTOR RATED
HORSEPOWER.
13.
CONTRACTOR SHALL GUARANTEE ADEQUATE CLEARANCE ALL AROUND
THE UNIT FOR MAINTENANCE ACCESS.
14.
CONDENSING UNIT SHALL BE INSTALLED TO WITHSTAND WIND
PRESSURE FROM ANY DIRECTION AS PER THE "HVHZ" REQUIREMENTS
OF THE F.B.C.
15.
ALL UNITS SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH INSULATION LINERS TO PREVENT
SURFACE CONDENSATION UNDER ALL CONDITIONS.
16.
CONDENSER COILS SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH A PROTECTIVE GUARD.
17.
PROVIDE DACA -CP1 -1 CONDENSATE PUMP ACCESSORY WITH
OVERFLOW PROTECTION FOR AIR HANDLING UNIT. OVERFLOW PROTECTION
SHALL SHUT DOWN THE UNIT UPON DETECTION OF CONDENSATE HIGH
LEVEL.
18.
UNIT SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH A PROGRAMMABLE DIGITAL
THERMOSTAT AS RECOMMENDED BY UNITS MANUFACTURER AND SHALL
BE CAPABLE OF PROVIDING AFTER HOURS SET BACK FOR ENERGY
EFFICIENCY PURPOSES.
