As such, the information is as follows: 2 -1500 kVA transformers in parallel, with a secondary voltage of 277/480 V in the main vault. The symmetrical fault current at this facility is 54,000 Amps, This is calculated with an actual impedance of 4.8% on each of the transformers. This assumes an infinite bus at the vault, The 1500 kVA transformer in the same vault has a symmetrical fault current of 31,000 Amps at 277/480 V. This also assumes an infinite bus at the transformer with an actual impedance of 4.90%. The 1000 kVA transformer in the North Tower vault has a symmetrical fault current of 22,000 Amps. The same assumptions apply with an actual impedance rating of 4.89% The 500 kVA transformer in the East Tower vault has a symmetrical fault current of 27,757 symmetrical amperes at 1201208 V.
