SEQUENCE OF OPERATION FOR
THE FIRE ALARM CONTROL PANEL

)RMAL CONDITION
the standard normal condition, the Fire Alarm Control Panel will Perform the following
Check the Primary Power 11ovac input voltage
Check the Secondary Power Backup Battery input voltage
Check the status of the Initiating Circuits and the Notification Circuits
The Fire Alarm Control Panel's Green LED light will be on
IRLE CONDITION
detection of one or more trouble conditions, the Fire Alarm Control Panel will perform the following:
The Piezo Sounder Pulses one second On and one second Off
-The Fire Alarm Control Panel's Yellow ( Trouble) LED flashes one second on and one second off
Another Yellow LED will lit on ( specifying the Fire Alarm Control Panel's Circuit where the trouble is occurring )
The Trouble Relay will activate
LARM CONDITION
Pon detection of an alarm condition, the Fire Alarm Control Panel will perform the following
The Piezo Sounder produces a steady output as opposed to a pulse output
The Fire Alarm Control Panel's Red ( alarm ) LED will be lit
Another Red LED will lit on ( Specifying the Initiating Circuit activated into alarm condition )
The Alarm Relay will activate
The Trouble Relay will not activate
The City Tie Relay will activate

SEOUENC:E OF OPERATION FOR
THE ALARM INITIATING DEVICES
1) When a Pull Station is activated in alarm condition, the Fire Alarm Control Panel will activate into alarm condition
2) When the Pull Station Initiating Circuit is disconnected from the Pull Station's terminals, the Fire Alarm Control
Panel will activate into trouble condition
3) When a Smoke Detector is activated in alarm condition, the Fire Alarm Control Panel will activate into alarm
condition
4) When the Smoke Detector Initiating Circr.lit or the Resettable 24 vdc Power is disconnected from the Smoke
Detector's terminals, the Fire Alarm Control Panel will activate into trouble condition
5) When a Heat Detector is activated in alarm condition, the Fire Alarm Control Panel will activate into alarm condition
6) When the Heat Detector Initiating Circuit is disconnected from the Heat Detector's terminals, the Fire Alarm Control
Panel will activate into trouble condition
SEQUENCE OF OPERATIONS FOR
THE NO T'IFICATIONI APPLIANCES
1) The Horn /Strobes ( wall mount Or ceiling mount ) activate in alarm condition when the Fire Alarm Control Panel is
activated into alarm condition
2) When the 1 -torn /Strobe ( wall mount or ceiling mount ) Notification Appliance Indicating Circuit is disconnected from
the Hom /Strobe's terminals, the Fire Alarm Control Panel will activate into trouble condition
3) The Strobe Lights ( wall mount or ceiling mount ) activate in alarm condition when the Fire Alarm Control Panel is
activated into alarm condition
4) When the Strobe Light ( wall mount or ceiling mount ) Notification Appliance Circuit is disconnected from the Strobe
Light's terminals, the Fire Alarm Control Panel will activate into trouble condition
Note : All the new Strobe Lights will activate in Synchronization, since the new Power Expander Control Panel has the
Synchronized Feature incorporated in the main module ( this will make all the new Florn /Strobes and new Strobe
Lights connected to the Power Expander Control Panel synchronize) The existing Hom /Strobes and Strobe
�hts are not capable to have the Strobe Light synchronize, since when manufacturer they did not have the
= rnchronization c,ption or the candela requirements
