UPON ACTIVATION OF THE ELEVATOR LOBBY SMOKE DETECTORS (WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE ELEVATOR LOBBY DETECTOR AT THE PRIMARY LEVEL OF EGRESS), THE FOLLOWING SHALL OCCUR IN ADDITION TO ABOVE, 1. ELEVATORS SHALL RECALL TO THE PRIMARY LEVEL OF EGRESS, 2. WARNING SIGN SHALL ILLUMINATE. UPON ACTIVATION OF THE ELEVATOR LOBBY SMOKE DETECTOR AT THE PRIMARY LEVEL OF EGRESS, THE FOLLOWING SHALL OCCUR, IN ADDITION TO ABOVE, 1. ELEVATORS SHALL RECALL TO THE ALTERNATE LEVEL OF EGRESS. 2. WARNING SIGN SHALL ILLUMINATE. UPON ACTIVATION OF THE ELEVATOR MACHINE ROOM SMOKE DETECTOR, THE FOLLOWING SHALL OCCUR, IN ADDITION TO ABOVE, 1. ELEVATORS SHALL RECALL TO THE PRIMARY LEVEL OF EGRESS. 2. WARNING SIGN SHALL BLINK. UPON ACTIVATION OF THE ELEVATOR TOP OF SHAFT SMOKE DETECTOR, THE FOLLOWING SHALL OCCUR, 1. ELEVATORS SHALL RECALL TO THE PRIMARY LEVEL OF EGRESS. 2. WARNING SIGN SHALL BLINK. UPON ACTIVATION OF A TAMPER SWITCH, THE FOLLOWING SHALL OCCUR. 1. A SUPERVISORY SIGNAL SHALL BE SENT TO THE FACP & REMOTE ANNUNCIATOR. 2. A SUPERVISORY SIGNAL SHALL BE SENT TO THE OWNERS REMOTE STATION VIA DACT. UPON ACTIVATION OF A DUCT SMOKE DETECTOR, THE FOLLOWING SHALL OCCUR. 1. A SUPERVISORY SIGNAL SHALL BE SENT TO THE FACP & REMOTE ANNUNCIATOR. 2. A SUPERVISORY SIGNAL SHALL BE SENT TO THE OWNERS REMOTE STATION VIA DACT. 3. THE AIR HANDLER UNIT ASSOCIATED WITH THAT DUCT DETECTOR SHALL SHUT DOWN. UPON ACTIVATION OF A ELEVATOR HEAT DETECTOR LOCATED IN THE SHAFT OR MACHINE ROOM THE FOLLOWING SHALL OCCUR. 1. A SUPERVISORY SIGNAL SHALL BE SENT TO THE FACP & REMOTE ANNUNCIATOR. 2. A SUPERVISORY SIGNAL SHALL BE SENT TO THE OWNERS REMOTE STATION VIA DACT. 3. THE SIGNAL WILL BE SENT TO THE SHUNT SWITCH FOR POWER SHUTDOWN. SMOKE CONTROL SEQUENCE OF OPERATION THE AREAS COVERED UNDER THIS PROJECT ARE DESIGNED FOR A PASSIVE SMOKE CONTROL OPERATION. THE BUILDING IS DIVIDED INTO MULTIPLE SMOKE COMPARTMENTS SEPARATED BY FIRE /SMOKE BARRIERS THAT CONTAIN THE SMOKE WITH THE ZONE OF FIRE ORIGIN (ZOFO). UPON ACTIVATION OF ANY FIRE ALARM DEVICE THE FOLLOWING SEQUENCE OF OPERATION SHALL OCCUR, 1. ALL EXHAUST FANS SERVING THE ZOFO SHALL BE DE- ENERGIZED. 2. ALL AIR HANDLING UNITS SERVING ONE ZOFO SHALL BE DE- ENERGIZED. 3. ALL COMBINATION FIRE /SMOKE DAMPERS LOCATED ON PERIMETER WALL OF ZOFO SHALL MODULATE TO THE CLOSE POSITION. NOTE, THE FOLLOWING EQUIPMENT SHALL BE PART OF THE SEQUENCE OF OPERATION DESCRIBED ABOVE, 1. TOILET EXHAUST FANS DEDICATED TO INDIVIDUAL TOILET ROOMS. 2.
