SCOPE OF WORK
REMOVE (2) 6,000 GALLON (1) 10,000 GALLON UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANKS AS FOLLOWS-
6.
FIELD VERIFY ALL EXISTING CONDITIONS AND DIMENSIONS BEFORE STARTING WORK INCLUDING
THE LOCATIONS OF EXISTING TANKS & PIPING.
O DRAIN AND FLUSH ALL PRODUCT FROM PIPING INTO TANKS.
O3 SAWCUT AND BREAKOUT EXISTING PAVING TO REMOVE (2) 6,000 GALLON & (1) 10,000 GALLON
UNDERGROUND FUEL STORAGE TANKS.
O DISCONNECT AND SAFETY OFF (4) EXISTING MULTI- PRODUCT DISPENSERS.
O5 ALL EXISTING FUEL AND SLUDGE TO BE REMOVED FROM TANKS BY AN APPROVED TRANSPORTER.
OWNER TO COORDINATE AND SCHEDULE PRODUCT REMOVAL.
O EXCAVATE EXISTING BACKFILL FROM TOP OF TANKS. OWNERS ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTANT TO
DETERMINE DISPOSITION OF BACKFILL MATERIAL.
O REMOVE THE ABOVE DESCRIBED UNDERGROUND FUEL STORAGE TANKS ,
AND DISPOSE OF IN ACCORDANCE WITH API #1604.
GENERAL NOTES:
1. TANKS TO BE DISPOSED OF IN ACCORDANCE WITH API RECOMMENDED PRACTICE #1604
2. SLUDGE TO BE REMOVED & DISPOSED OF BY ERM APPROVED LICENSED CONTRACTOR.
3. BEFORE SAWCUTTING OR EXCAVATING THE CONTRACTOR SHALL TAKE NECESSARY MEASURES
TO FIELD VERIFY THE EXISTENCE & LOCATION OF ALL UNDERGROUND FACILITIES.
